The Rider

Hi, my name is Guy.  No, I'm not really a cowboy.  I'm not even originally from a western state.  I was born, however, in Houston, Missouri, Texas County.  Does that count?  The closest that I come to being a cowboy is when I put on my Levis and boots and sing country western karaoke songs.  I wouldn't know what to do with a horse if I had one and would probably fall off if I tried to ride one.  I rode when I was younger but that was a long, long time ago.  I have lived in Washington State for the past twenty-five years and this truck and camper are just part of my plans to do as much travelling to see as much of our beautiful country, its interesting and weird places and people as I can, while I can.

Got this hat in a store near Astoria, Oregon. Had to have it.  Love it!   I thought it would go well with the horse and saddle theme of this blog.

My objective here is to provide a pathway for social connections, blog about my truck camper experience, have a little fun and provide some entertainment for family and friends.  Hey, what else does a single, retired man with no children have to do?

PS:  I won't bore you here but if you want to know more about me then check out my other blogs or contact me.  I would love to hear from you.    I've also provided a link to my photography.

Happy trails!
